How to Earn $50 a day as a freelance writer?

"If I show you a way, will you do it?"

We live in a society where nobody wants to get out of their comfort zone. But I'm not.

Since I liked books, reading, and writing, I was encouraged to consider the related field beside my prime job. And it’s been 10 years ago since I started as a blogger.

Is blogging worth it? YES!

Because I do it the right way and I know how I can make sure it pays off.
Throughout those 10 years I also broke ground and grew my business to a height I never imagined, as a freelance writer.

Why freelance writer?

I love writing with a passion, I get to be my own boss, I can work from home, and I get paid.

These are three platforms that I use to earn money from freelance writer, as a beginner.

  • Blogging
Like any business venture, online income takes time to grow, I know that starting a blog can seem overwhelming and tiring. But we can start a successful blogger.

I spend a few hours a week writing and post my article. I’m not sure about monetize CPC or CPM ads, I just through placing google AdSense and simply place the banner on my site.

Besides, my quickest way to earn some good cash from my blog is a Sponsored post. I can talk about products or brands that readers would be interested in like cosmetics, books review, any topic that I’m passionate about.

Fees vary between $4 - $10 per-post depending on the type of placement or client. I’ve worked with clients throughout Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. I negotiated higher pay for myself when I knew I deserved it.

  • LinkedIn
I have always loved making connections with other people, and LinkedIn is the "world's largest professional network" for professionals. Offering a suite of services for job seekers, recruiters, and employers.

LinkedIn is my favorite social media tool to help me grow my network and find new opportunities to develop, hands down!

I have my profile completed, and LinkedIn feeds relevant content on my profile page. LinkedIn is packed with recruiters for all different industries and I’ve totally received multiple job offers through LinkedIn as a content writer.

If you want to get a job for LinkedIn, make your profile stand out at the perfect fit for the role, and build your network and never stop added relevant connections.

  • Fastwork
Do you know Online freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, fiverr, or Fastwork?
Freelance platforms exist to help connect freelance workers with potential gigs. And I have worked as a freelance writer in Fastwork.

In fastwork freelancers can use the site to search and apply for positions for free. You just need to pay 10% taxes per job.

Because a freelance writer is not my priority job, I’ve proactively chosen to make my scope of potential clients narrow. I accept a project that matches my niche and the desired level and I can attach extra services to gigs for more money.

If you want to make some extra money, freelance sites can help you find the work you're looking for.

There are many other creative ways to make money as a freelancer. You’ll find thousands of ways you can use for inspiration.
